I graduated college back in 2005 with a bachelors degree. As many may know, that was when the economy really went bad. It was hard for me to find a career with using only a bachelors in biology. I was told several times that I needed experience or I need to go to medical school. After being rejected from several companies, I decided to go out and get "any" job that would hire me. I worked at a children's consigment shop for a year then I was hired at a preschool. I been at the preschool for 3 years. The company has froze our raises and taken away our incentive programs so basically we are just working to work. I asked my boss one day how what was the most I could make and she responded by saying that what I am making now is pretty much the top out! Now I have no kids, live with my husband in a small one bedroom apartment, my car is paid off and I am still barely making it. In order for me to save a little bit of money is by staying home everyday, literally. Who wants to be cooped up in an apartment all day on a nice sunny day? Anyway, when my boss told me about my pay, I was totally disgusted and then decided that I needed to go back to school. I went online looking and found a college that had what I needed and it fit just right for me. The only problem that I have now is that I am going to a 2 year college to obtain an associate degree, which means I am going backwards. I get no financial aid at all because of me having a bachelors already. My husband is taking on more bills since I will be cut down to 20 hours a week and I need help paying for my tuition. Its less than 2,000 a sesmester but it's still hard to pay that when you don't work many hours. Where can I go to recieve help?
